First single “lie to me” out now

‘Lie To Me’ is a strongly dynamic contemporary rock song about a kid just trying to understand what life is all about and sometimes feeling like it’s always an uphill battle.

Sonically speaking, the track is pretty much an ‘all in one’ fusion of Foo Fighters, Nickelback and Pearl Jam.

The Adelaide rock quartet recorded ‘Lie To Me’ as part of their debut album at Ultrasonic Studios (Brisbane). The album was produced by Grammy nominated and multi-Juno Award winning record producer and audio engineer Brandon Friesen (Nickelback, Comeback Kid, Sum 41, The Music), mixed in Las Angeles by the internationally acclaimed Keith Armstrong (Santana, Billy Talent, Joe Cocker, Bon Jovi) and mastered by Tom Baker (30 Seconds to Mars, Hoobastank, The Living End, Velvet Revolver) at Precision Mastering in Los Angeles.

Lead vocalist Matt Fragomeli talks about the writing process, “… we put a lot into this album with over a year of writing and refining back in Adelaide, testing the material in the live scene and seeing what captures an audience. We wanted to make an album that can appeal to the general public as well as the musos out there!”

Since forming, a keen online following has landed Undermine support gigs with the Screaming Jets, Jackson Firebird, and several other renown Aussie bands.

‘Lie To Me’ is available for purchase online via iTunes as well as the other major online digital music retailers. Physical copies can be purchased via the band’s website:

If you’re a fan of the Foo Fighters, Nickelback, Pearl Jam, Velvet Revolver, Audioslave, Stone Temple Pilots or anything from the world of contemporary rock, ‘Lie To Me’ is definitely a must listen for you!
